I've got to love Lost's though, this season has generally been fantastic all around and this last episode proved it. The fact that the blowing up of a nuke is actually a minor point to my mind shows how full of awesome stuff this has been.

For me its all about Jacob and whoever is possessing Locke and I've actually got interested in the mythology behind it all again. I'd kind of given up before as it was very much make-it-up-as-they-go-along, but now we're approaching the ending and its clear that finale they've got a good idea of what's behind it all.

An evil demon often depicted as a snake. Like a giant snake of black smoke maybe? The other guy we saw talking to Jacob, the one that's possessed Locke, is he the smoke monster? Has it all along been a battle between these two forces?

Which would bascially mean all of Lost is just a lover's tiff? Makes A Midsummer Night's Dream seem positively pleasant.

I mean, Lucifer actually rising? The apocalypse in all it's glory? (Although the Supernatural version of the Four Horsemen could be awesome.) How the fuck are they going to do that well without spending all the money in the world on it?
